Sprint delays 9350 release at the eleventh hour, now October
Giving vague reasons and citing “unexpected circumstances”, Sprint has delayed the release of the BlackBerry Curve 9350, set to launch today. Those who were waiting to grab this device, instead of dropping the extra cash on a higher-end model like the 9930, will now have to wait until an undisclosed date in October. A new release date will be forthcoming in the near future, but Sprint declined to state exactly when today.
I’d love to know why the device was pulled just a few short hours before a release date that has been known for a while, but the official statement really doesn’t shed any light on it, so we may never actually know. If you have a hunch or tip, I’d love to hear it, so drop a comment or fire me an email/tweet and let me know your thoughts.
