UberSocial the popular app for Twitter access on BlackBerry - also the app formerly known as UberTwitter - has released an update over the weekend going to Version 1.185.

This new version brings with it a changelog which tells us that it fixes and adds:

• Fixed issue with trending topics not loading
• Fixed issue with recommended users not loading
• Much simpler initial setup
• Added retweet count to each retweet in the timeline
• Fixed bug where DMs and @replies might be displayed twice
• Removed ability to send DMs with >140 chars, pictures, videos, or location
• Added ability to log out
• Fixed bug where clicking ‘lists’ from a users profile or an open tweet would cause a null pointer exception

BlackBerry App World is showing the app at version 1.175 but if you click the link below directly to UberSocial’s download page it will give you the updated version. Or you can just scan the QR code below which will not take you directly to the download page you must choose for yourself which version your device needs - be it the one for 4.2.1 Devices, 4.3 Devices, 4.5 Devices, 4.6 Devices (Bold, new Curves), 4.7 Devices (Storm, Tour), 5.0 (Storm, Tour, new Bold, and others), or 6.0 Devices (Torch, Curve 3G, Pearl 3G).
