This Week In BlackBerry 11/8-11/14

It looks like RIM is changing it up a bit as they gear up for the Holidays. Pushing new devices in the 4th quarter is business as usual for RIM, but releasing white versions of newly released flagship devices is a nice surprise. It looks like Canada will see both the white Torch and white Bold 9780 before the holidays. Since there aren’t many improvements from the 9700 to the 9780, releasing the 9780 in white will give some users more of an incentive to upgrade.
In the US, the Torch is out in White & Red already but the 9780 has yet to be released. The 9780 is expected to release on T-mobile this coming Wednesday, but we haven’t heard much about AT&T’s release. It would make sense for AT&T to release the 9780 in the coming weeks, but there’s no telling if the white version will hit US soil before the holidays. I’m sure we’ll have answers to these questions soon enough, so for the meantime take a look to see what you missed this week in BlackBerry at The Cellular Guru.
