WIND Mobile subscribers have been hearing rumours and rumblings for a while now about their carrier potentially releasing some of the new BlackBerry 7 smartphones into their lineup. One of our tipsters sent in a picture of a WIND Mobile posting detailing the various BlackBerry smartphones, including the Bold 9790 and 9900, as well as the Torch 9810. Zooming in on the image, you’ll note that each of the BlackBerry 7 devices is labelled “NEW”, a pretty comprehensive indicator that these are about to be added to the lineup.
No word yet on pricing or availability for these devices, but this is the most concrete evidence we have so far that WIND will in fact be updating their BlackBerry offerings to include the newest line of devices from RIM. Exciting news for WIND BlackBerry lovers, stay tuned and we’ll bring you more details as we get them.
Side Note: Interesting bit here, if you look closely at the 9790 column, you’ll note that actual details of the device aren’t listed, just the fact that it will run BB7, and a display resolution of 480×360. Not too surprising since the device hasn’t even been announced by RIM yet, but it is odd that the display resolution would remain at only 480×360 since every other BB7 smartphone has had a resolution upgrade over the previous generation.
