Apple announced early this evening that company co-founder Steve Jobs has resigned his role as CEO of the Cupertino-based company. Tim Cook, previously Apple’s COO, has taken the reigns as CEO, while Jobs will remain with the company as Chairman of the Board. (via BusinessWire)
