Rogers and Telus Both Officially Announce The Blackberry Pearl 9100
Apr 26th
With WES 2010 well under way we all know it’s going to be a busy week on the blog front. It’s only Monday morning and RIM has wasted no time officially announcing both the Bold 9650 and the Pearl 9100 respectively. With this being said two of the Canadian carriers have followed suit officially announcing their plans to indeed carry the Pearl 9100. Rogers official press release that they will be carrying the device went out this morning, with Telus’ being posted on their website not to long after.
Interestingly enough Telus has also announced that they will exclusively be selling the Pink version, with a possible Cancer Awareness marketing campaign. The device was originally speculated (with an inventory screen shot) at $79.99 on a 3 year term, Telus has officially announced a $29.99 price point, and I expect Rogers to follow suit on this one, though no formal pricing from Rogers has been announced.
I personally love this device, it’s slim and snappy and I think will be a sure fire hit, what do you think?
