Most people know that purchasing a separate GPS device is an expensive proposition, and something most people don’t want to shell out the cash for. TeleNav is a great GPS app that works on multiple devices and networks in the US and Canada (and the rest of the world, but this contest is limited to those countries). It does turn-by-turn navigation as well as any dedicated GPS unit. This is your chance to try it!
We have teamed up with TeleNav to give you a chance to win one of two one-year subscriptions to TeleNav Navigator. All you need to do is the following:

Since the beginning of time mankind has struggled to communicate. From the ever-growing variety of languages to simple misunderstandings, this causes problems in day-to-day life.

Tether turns 1 and celebrates with a contest

For me, I’d love to have rap star Rick Ross’ number. I’m a big fan of his music, plus we share the name (as well as my dad, who is always alerted to this fact every time he travels, checks into a hotel, picks up a rental car, etc.).

When Cell Guru asked me to come up with a new contest, I wanted to do something fun and really pick your brains.
I know most, if not all, of you have seen Fight Club (don’t give me any of that “I read the book and it was better” crap… I did too and it wasn’t even Palahniuk’s best work – Survivor FTW) and the same number have a Twitter account. Well I watched it while I was doing laundry the other day and I’ve always loved the “who would you fight” question.
So here is my question: What person from history (past or present) do you wish had Twitter and what would you love to see them tweet?
Maybe you’d like to see da Vinci mention he just painted the “some chick with the craziest smile”, or Martin Luther tweet the location of his 95 Theses (think he’d use foursquare?).
Possibly Nero tweeting a joke about “starting fires under the people of Rome” or even a Noah “looks like rain” comment?
