Rogers trying to clear stock of Curve 8520. Curve 9300 around the corner?
Its not news that the Blackberry 9300 (Curve 3G) is launching imminently with all carriers in Canada. Recently, it has been spotted popping up on carrier websites, Q3 flyers and upcoming device roadmaps.
It is also nothing new that Rogers is very strict on selling ANY sort of data device without a contract.
Our Rogers connect sent us this bulletin that they just received showing a number of devices available for upgrade without the need for data, with the Blackberry Curve 8520 listed as $0 on a 3 year voice-only renewal. Chances are that Rogers is trying to clear stock as the device reaches its end of life with them, meaning that we could be seeing the 9300 in just a matter of weeks.
