In other words, there are no surprises here. They are offering the same amount of data for the same price:

  • 250MB for $15
  • 5GB for $35

Now it is unlikely that most people will go over 5GB 3G data in a month, considering the majority of usage will be at home, on WiFi. As much of a “portable” unit the iPad is, it’s just as good to curl up with on your couch and read a couple chapters of a book.

It is also likely, now, that Telus will be announcing support for the iPad in the near future, considering we’ve already seen their MicroSIMs in circulation.
