Dolphin has always been one of the more mature, popular browsers for Android. Around since near its inception, it’s garnered almost a million downloads, without receiving the same kind of press as Opera Mini or more recently, Skyfire. But Dolphin’s capabilities have actually been lauded and copied on almost all the 3rd-party browsers released since, from xScope (which I use as my default browser) to Skyfire itself. It’s supported multitouch and gestures to make browsing quicker and more intuitive, and now, Dolphin HD has been released.

Dolphin HD has been rebuilt from scratch to take advantage of the speed and API enhancements of Android 2.0+.
