Rogers Comes Through For Travellers and Students, And Travelling Students
Rogers has updated their US/Canada plans, and have replaced them with generic North America calling. This is calling, within Canada, to any number in Canada or the US. This is separate, I believe, from their US/Canada Roaming Plans.
The new plans are as follows:
Rogers
- $5/month - For 50 long distance minutes ($.10/min)
- $35/month – For unlimited long distance minutes
Fido (owned by Rogers)
- $5/month – 50 long distance minutes ($.10/min)
These are a nice little discount.
Also, Rogers has updated their student plans to include two new My10 plans, one with data and one without. I like the $30 one, as it’s likely perfect for students without smartphones.
What do you think?

Those plans blow. Aside from the long distance, you'd be better off just getting one of their base plans. Rogers with the #Fail again
