Rumour: HTC prepping larger-screened One codenamed “T6″

We’ve already reported about HTC’s forthcoming “M4″, which is expected to be a mini version of the One, and now it sounds like the company is also preparing a larger variant of their latest flagship. According to a Tweet from @evleaks, HTC is working on a “phablet” version of the One, codenamed “T6″. According to PhoneArena, the codename was discovered within a Linux string by Japanese site HTC Soku, and includes GSM, WCDMA, and LTE variations. While that is all we know about this device so far, the T6 codename may hint at a gargantuan 6-inch display for this new device, much like the M4 is rumoured to include a 4-inch screen.
This latest discovery comes just days after a Pocket-lint exclusive claiming HTC would launch a large “5.x-inch” version of the One in the near future.
