Would-be smartphone buyers now have even more reason to consider the new HTC One. This weekend only, HTC is running a “One Phone, One Weekend, Premium Upgrade” promotion in Canada, offering up to $300 to those who trade-in their old smartphone and upgrade to the HTC One. HTC guarantee’s a minimum $100 trade-in value, although they are only accepting “qualified” devices - you can see if your device is eligible by visiting HTC’s Trade Up website.

The promotion is available from today (May 23rd) until next Monday May 27th, and applies to all Canadian carriers selling the One - that’s Rogers, Bell, Telus. SaskTel, and Virgin. After you buy your new One, you just need to use the promo code “HTC100″ when trading in your old device.
