Sena, Sena, Sena, our illustrious history dates back so many reviews, I don’t even know where to begin. From BlackBerry to iPhone and a few Android devices in between, you’ve always had my back in a protective, luxurious kind of way. You see, in a sea of device accessories, your cellular cases have always stood out to me. But, of course, time does goes on; as does technology. Having recently succumbed to the lure of the tablet (I bought an iPad mini), the first idea that came to mind was “what am I going to use to cover this bad-boy”.

Despite a few delays, my natural first choice was to check out what Sena had in store for me. Looking through their extensive catalogue, it seemed as a no brainer that I choose the ‘Jornal’, which looked like a larger version of the ‘Corsa’ case for the iPhone 4S; an accessory I reviewed - and loved - last year.

Made from (like all Sena’s products) genuine leather, the case feels strong and emanates a luxurious, business-friendly vibe when pulled out in meetings or coffee shops. Like a standard notebook, the Jornal has an opening on the right for your iPad, and business card slots on the left, so you’re always prepared to promote yourself when the opportunity arises.

One of my favorite features of the Jornal, something that stood out immensely during the research process, was that little leather flap you see at the top center of the back of the Jornal case. This subtle addition allows you to stand your iPad up for demonstration or easy typing when deemed necessary.

Overall, Sena has outdone themselves again. The Jornal case adds a level of class and sophistication to your iPad that you just can’t find anywhere else.
