Leaked specs for HTC “Myst”: the Facebook Phone resurfaces

We’ve been hearing about the mythical “Facebook Phone” for years now, and it still has yet to truly materialize. Facebook teamed up with HTC a few years back to launch the ChaCha - aka. the HTC Status - an Android device with a physical QWERTY keyboard and a dedicated Facebook button. Still, that device didn’t have the kind of deep Facebook integration we’d expect to see from a true Facebook Phone. If recent rumours are any indication, Round 2 may be coming soon, as leaked specs have surfaced for a device codenamed “HTC Myst”, which will reportedly be the duo’s second attempt at a Facebook Phone.
Reported by @evleaks over on Unwired View, the Myst is said to pack a 1.5GHz dual-core MSM8960 CPU, 4.3-inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, and 1.6 megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device is said to run Android Jelly Bean, and will come preloaded with a suite of Facebook applications, including the official client, Messenger, and Instagram.
The report speculates that the Myst will arrive Stateside sometime in the Spring.
