TELUS launches Nokia’s budget Lumia 620 Windows Phone

Canadians seeking an affordable, compact smartphone now have one more to choose from: TELUS has just launched the colourful Nokia Lumia 620. The Lumia 620 features an interchangeable back cover, so users can customize the phone with 7 different colourful shells. TELUS will sell the Lumia 620 in black with a bonus white shell, while other colours will be sold separately.
The Lumia 620 is the little brother of Nokia’s flagship Lumia 920, and runs Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system. It’s packing a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, a 3.8-inch ClearBlack display with an 800 x 480 resolution, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage (with a microSD slot for expansion up to 64GB), a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front facing camera, NFC, and HSPA+ data connectivity. Aside from the stock Windows Phone 8 experience, you’ll also find Nokia’s suite of preloaded apps and features, including Nokia Drive, Maps, Transport, and CityLens.
TELUS is offering the Lumia 620 for $0 on a 2-year contract, or $250 outright - a fantastic price for a fairly capable phone. It’s available online and in store starting today!
