“The full QWERTY BlackBerry Q10 is on track for a late April, early May launch”, says BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins

We are live this morning at the Rogers plus store in Toronto, ON for the launch of the BlackBerry Z10 in Canada. During the ribbon cutting ceremony both Rogers CEO Nadir Mohamed and BlackBerry President and CEO Thorsten Heins gave a few brief words on their excitement around the launch, the buzz both are feeling, and of course, what the launch means for both their companies and Canada as a whole. Needless to say, everyone can feel the positive vibes.
During the speeches, one journalist asked the big question “when can Canadians expect the full QWERTY Q10 to launch”?, to which Thorsten confidently stated:
“although we are still in field-testing mode, we are on a track for a late April, early May launch in Canada”. Although this does not give solid confirmation on an exact date, it does give BlackBerry 9900 diehards something to look forward to.
