Google and Asus are reportedly set to launch the 2nd-generation Nexus 7 tablet in May, most likely at Google’s I/O developer conference, according to Digitimes. Citing information from supply chain sources, Digitimes claims the updated Nexus 7 tablet will feature a “full HD” 1080p display, and a “tweaked design” with a narrower bezel. The report goes on to say that the new tablet will run an upgraded version of Jelly Bean that will “enhance integration between the software and the hardware”, whatever that means.

Digitimes says the updated Nexus 7 will debut at the same $199 and $249 price points of the original. Google I/O will be held from May 15th - 17th, 2013.
