HTC Windows Phone 8S on its way to WIND, Mobilicity, and Koodo
After launching on Virgin Mobile in early December, HTC’s low-end Windows Phone 8S looks poised to debut on three more Canadian carriers in the coming weeks. According to HTC’s own website, the 8S will soon arrive on new entrants WIND Mobile and Mobilicity, as well as Telus subsidiary Koodo. None of these carriers have confirmed launch dates or pricing just yet, but we’ll let you know!
I had the pleasure of reviewing the Windows Phone 8S last month, and I’m a big fan of the phone’s gorgeous industrial design. If you need a refresher, the 8S features a 4-inch 800 x 480 display, 1GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage, and Windows Phone 8. The device retails for $79 at Virgin Mobile, so expect similar pricing from the other carriers.
