Apple to exchange third-gen for fourth-gen iPads if within 30 days of purchase?
So Apple caught us all off guard yesterday when they announced a new-er 4th-generation, faster iPad, less than 6 months after launching the “new iPad”. Aside from catching us off guard with the announcement they also annoyed a number of consumers. Why? Many have just recently hopped the bandwagon and dropped a cool $500 on the famed product. Well, we have some good news for you: : CNET reported that Apple Stores in the US might replace a third-generation iPad with the new fourth-generation if it was purchased within the last 30 days. It is, of course, up to the discretion of the store to make the call if a customer can exchange or not. When speaking to a manager of an Apple Store, it was explained that the policy is on a store-to-store basis.
No word on whether this offer would be available in Canada as well, we’ve reached out to the Apple Store at Square One mall in Mississauga for comment and are waiting on a response.
