You know you’ve REALLY hit it big, when one of the largest phone manufacturers in the world is flying you in to sing one song, at an invite-only event. Riding the huge wave of success that “Gangnam Style” is getting lately, Samsung has decided to bring Psy (the singer of Gangnam Style) down to Toronto for a private show at the Kool Haus on October 30th.

Tickets will not be on sale for this, but Samsung did say that “some lucky Canadians can win the opportunity to attend by checking out Samsung Canada’s Facebook page.”

Paul Brannen, VP of Mobile Communications at Samsung Canada said “The new Samsung GALAXY Note II is the ultimate smartphone for on-the-go productivity and content creation so we are thrilled to team up with PSY to launch this category-leading device – Gangnam Style.”

So there you have it. This song has gone from overnight success, to full on marketing campaign. Hey, at least they’re not making fun of Apple anymore
