Rogers to be the preferred Canadian wireless partner for the launch of Windows 8

Rogers is no stranger to the Windows Phone line, having been the first to bring the OS to Canada with the Samsung Focus. In a move to keep the relationship strong and lasting, they have announced a new alliance today with Microsoft and have been named the preferred Canadian wireless partner for the upcoming launch of Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. Having already locked down launch exclusivity on the forthcoming Nokia Lumia 920, Windows Phone 8X (8GB) by HTC and the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Tablet. In addition, Rogers also plans to retail the Windows Phone 8X (16GB) and the Samsung ATIV S, both being LTE-powered devices.
