Busta Rhymes, twenty years later, continues to pave the hip hop badlands. Now with YMCMB (think Lil’ Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, etc) he launches today his 9th studio album full of the gritty, spastic, high-energy raps that we’ve all grown to love him for. However, there is a catch: instead of releasing via standard iTunes, store, or other music streaming methods, he (Busta) sees the growth in mobile and has teamed up with Google’s Play store to offer the album as a free download to Android users. More? It’s a US-only release as of now (well, other than torrents, obviously).

Regardless of his methods, I have listened to a few of the tracks and am happy he has stayed true to his original style. I look forward to the official Canadian release.
