Samsung announces Exynos 4 Quad processor

Say hello to the new 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad, which is based on the ARM Cortex A9. The 32nm will also be found in the next Galaxy, aka SGSIII.
Already in production, the Exynos 4 Quad is scheduled to be adopted first into Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone that will officially be announced in May. Samsung’s Exynos 4 Quad is also sampling to other major handset makers.
With the Eyxnos 4 Quad, devices will be capable of 1080p video playback at 30fps. The new processor will also support an interface for HDMI 1.4. Samsung states the new processor will double the power of the current model while using 20% less power.
Now folks, all we have to do now is sit back and wait for Samsung to unveil the new Galaxy flagship May 3rd.
