Ready for some interesting statistics? At Google’s event last night, before the introduction of Google Music, they dropped some numbers, some pretty big numbers. To date, just over 200 million Android devices have been activated which works out to 550,000 a day. Compare that to 100 million and 400,000 activations a day back in May.

With these numbers, Google is rapdily getting close to the folks down in Cupertino, as they have around 250 million activated to date.
