The iPhone 4S has been Jailbroken

Well that didn’t take long. The iPhone 4S has officially been Jailbroken. Yup, you got that right.
Despite being very “preliminary”, reports state that the iPhone Dev Team has found a way to get Cydia running on both the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2. Alas, there is a lot of work to do to get this into a public facing stage, rest assured in knowing it WILL come in the not too distant future.
For those unfamiliar with the term “Jailbreak”, doing so and installing Cydia allows users the ability to browse and install unofficial apps on their iDevice. Although it DOES void your warranty, so don’t expect to get ANY help from your local genius bar, should you mess things up (you’ve been warned).
Although you can’t officially play with it yourself, you can at least watch the video below which shows Cydia running on the iPad 2. So until it does go public, stay hungry my friends:
