Riiight, so the BlackBerry Knight not only exists, but has finally received the official nod from RIM. Hmm… don’t really know what to make of this. For those interested, it is said to retail for $2000 (USD) and there’s going to be a limited “restricted” amount for sale. Also, don’t expect this lil’ ditty to ever make it to our neck of the woods, for now it’s only available in Dubai. As for the specs? Mostly the same as the BlackBerry 9900 with a few minor UI changes (custom Porsche fonts and icons) and a custom PIN number starting with 2AA . As for the housing changes? It will feature a stainless steel keyboard and leather backing.

Final thoughts? Long live frivolous spending!
