As I write this post there is a tear running down my cheek, Nokia is giving away 25,000 of the amazingly gorgeous Lumia 800 (check our hands on here) to lucky developers. This should get some more developers to make their way over to the Windows Phone platform (Silverlight), eh? Marco Argenti, SVP of Development and Marketplace at Nokia had this to say: “Nokia Lumia 800 is a beautiful thing. Developers will be inspired to create beautiful apps; the opportunity is here, now”.

I don’t know about you but this makes me want to sign up to become a Windows Phone developer, solely to get my hands on the 800; anyone want to join me? We were blown away when the device first hit our hands; it has the design and hardware quality we have come to expect from Nokia as well as the fast and easy to use OS from Microsoft. It’s like peanut butter and jelly….a perfect combination.
