For all those gadget guru’s out there with little ones who have trouble keeping those sticky and dirty hands off your iPhone, Fisher-Price has the solution for you.

The Fisher-Price Apptivity Case will protect your iPhone and iPod touch from drool, drops and anything else your baby decides to do with your beloved device. There is a clear film that protects the screen and the Fisher-Price Apptivity Case also allows you to disable to touchscreen all together so your colleagues won’t receive any calls from a crying baby.

Fisher-Price isn’t done there, they also have the Fisher-Price App which helps you track your baby’s growth, including a height and weight tracker, allows you to find the safest and most appropriate toys for your child’s age and allows you to create a wish list to send to friends and family for gift ideas.

Last but not least the Fisher-Price App also has facial recognition that can create future images of your child “based on mom’s and dad’s faces”.

As for price, the Fisher-Price Apptivity Case which is compatible with any iPhone or iPod Touch second generation or later is $17.99 and the App is free in the iTunes store.

If I had an iPone I’d get one for the fun of it. =P

Rather handy. I think apps that make for easy entertainment for adults also are attractive to children. More than a few times I’ve passed my phone to a kid to help occupy them. This makes it more effective with less risk. I like it.

I foresee this becoming something I pick up as Christmas presents for a lot of my friends with children.
