According to Susquehanna Financial Group, production of Apples iPad 3 is set to get under way in the fourth quarter of 2011. Susquehanna Financial Group analyst Jeffrey Fidacaro mentioned that Apple’s manufacturing partners are set to build at least 1 million iPad 3′s. Last week, Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brian White said Apple will release an “iPad mini” at the start of 2012, which is likely to compete with Amazons new Kindle Fire - with the iPad 3 tentatively set to be released in the second quarter of 2012.
