Tomorrow is the day when my timeline will be overrun with tweets from those who are either picking up their pre-order, or are camping out in line in front of their local store hoping to snag an iPhone 4S on launch day. A fair amount of news has come out today surrounding the device, so rather than spam you all with a ton of posts, we’re going to put it all right here in one easy to find format.

Pre-orders were insanely well received, as we told you the device had people calling dibs on over a million units in the first 24 hours alone. Today, Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T have all confirmed that their stock of available pre-orders has sold out, meaning that those looking to get a device tomorrow will need to pack a thermos, lawnchair, and be camped at the door at the crack of dawn.

In other news, for those of us residing north of the border, mobilesyrup posted earlier that iPhone4S has started to arrive at Canadian retail locations in preparation for tomorrow morning. I myself am tempted to head down to the local Apple store before work, if only to see how bad the lineups are, a phenomenon that still amuses and awes me a little.

Finally, for those too busy (or in possession of a touch of sanity) to run down tomorrow morning and stand in line for the latest and greatest from Apple, Best Buy is dropping the price of a 16GB iPhone 4 to $0 on a three year signup. Get your girlfriend to record some select soundclips ahead of time, and you can pretend you have Siri too. Only yours is telling you to take out the garbage, and that you don’t cuddle enough, instead of when that next therapy appointment is booked for in your calendar.
