Let the tradition continue. As with every new version of Android, a new statue appears outside Google’s Mountain View campus, this time it’s for Google’s upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich. The Ice Cream Sandwich statue now joins the infamous Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread and of course, Honeycomb already situated on the delicious front lawn. We only wonder what will get put up when J - the next letter to be announced - is launched in the not too distant future.

Of course, it won’t be long until we get our first taste of that Ice Cream Sandwich, because as we reported earlier Samsung has confirmed the Ice Cream Sandwich event will take place October 19th in Hong Kong.
