Walking into work tomorrow morning, you will be able to tell who the die-hard Apple fans are just by looking around. Those working on their 3rd pot of coffee, with red-rimmed eyes, unshaven, and nodding off at their desk probably got in on a pre-order of the iPhone 4S. Where do we get this preternatural sense of the future? In part, thanks to email updates from the carriers, letting us know what time pre-orders will go live. the rest is due to a deep understanding of how far we ourselves would go to make sure we got our hands on the latest gadget.

Rogers just dropped us a line to let us know that they will be opening the gates at 6AM EST, and I noticed a tidbit earlier regarding Telus starting the pre-orders at an ungodly 3AM EST. Of course, if you allow sanity to prevail, you’ll probably be just fine at 9am, but if you can’t stand the wait you’ll likely be sitting up before the sun, hitting f5 repeatedly.
