When a new product is announced by ANY carrier, the other(s) - who cannot stand to be upstaged - generally follow. Such has been the case with the ever-popular new lineup of BlackBerry 7 devices. With the American AWS version(s) on T-Mobile having launched over a month ago in the US, all eyes turned to both WIND and Mobilicity to see who could get their version out the fastest here in Canuckville - though most without patience simply bought and unlocked the T-Mobile version anyway. With yesterdays word that Mobilicity would be launching the 9900 in the very near future, it seemed only natural that within 24hours WIND do the same, however with a one-up: they’ll launch all three of the newly famed devices, not just the Bold - Oh snap. How will Mobilicity respond? Maybe confirming the other devices as well? Who knows. One thing we do know is that AWS-loyalists here will finally have a full-warrantied new BlackBerry to play with in the coming weeks.
