Alright, trick question: will the forthcoming iPhone be called the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5? Answer: no one except Tim Cook and his minions at Apple know for sure. Next Question: what will it look like? Answer: again, no one except Tim Cook, his minions, and some factories in Shenzen, China know for sure. So, all things being equal, every single rumor that has come out since early Spring are just that: rumors. Being said, with the ink on the press material barely dry, it seems only natural that more “iPhone 5 accessory images” trickle down the interwebz in advance of the pending official word - well, friends, that’s exactly what you’re looking at above. The case (received by an AT&T store) suggest - as most reports have stated - that the iPhone 5 will indeed sport a thinner profile and a mute switch on the opposite side of the phone. Cool, and? Exactly my point. These posts are getting rather annoying to keep writing about, and taking any suspense that is still left away from the official announcement next week. So, while I can’t stop the leaks, I can at least stop publishing posts about it on my site until the 4th (or at least until something more groundbreaking is known) - and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
