Telus officially announces the 4G Samsung Galaxy S II X

Android fans in Canada can look forward to getting their hands on the 4G Samsung Galaxy S II X from Telus in the “coming weeks”, according to official word from Telus today. Capable of handling 4G speeds, this will be the first and fastest device to hit the Canadian market, rated to deliver download speeds of 42 Mbps.
The dual core device features a 4.5″ super AMOLED plus screen, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and even includes the much-hyped NFC technology, allowing for future initiatives like mobile payment services. The device also sports an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera for video calling, mobile Hotspot, and full HD display.
No word on exact release date or pricing as yet, so stay tuned for further updates.
