T-Mobile to start offering free signal booster September 7th to subscribers
Some interesting news for T-Mobile subscribers that love the carrier but may not be having the greatest luck with signal strength when in their own home. According to a leaked document, T-Mobile may be offering up free signal boosters to their subscribers for in-home installation, allowing customers with less-than-stellar reception to boost their T-Mobile signal.
The signal boosters will be offered free of charge, if the subscriber has a two-year commitment signed for the line they are ordered with, but the booster must be returned at the end of that two-year period. The hardware will be shipped directly to the subscriber that meets the requirements, and the program is expected to roll out across all retail and T-Mobile branded locations nationwide September 7th.
Good to see a carrier getting smart enough to offer their own solution to their customer’s signal woes free of charge, it should be interesting to see how many people take advantage of the program.
