Last year, Canada’s first ever Android conference took place in Toronto, ON dubbed AndroidTO. The event was an overwhelming success, and the organizers have brought it back again, bigger and better than before. For anyone who is interested in Android development, or a fan of the Android platform as a whole, this event has a ton to offer in terms of knowledge and networking with like-minded people.

The one day conference is a chance for developers to learn more about programming and what to do with their finished product, and to meet and collaborate with others in their chosen field. New for attendees this year, multiple streams are offered, allowing you to attend sessions geared toward the Android development community or the Android enthusiast community, or perhaps dabble in a little of both. The hours for the conference have been extended past last year’s to allow greater opportunities for attendees to network, rather than hurried meetups between sessions. Interactive Panel Discussions will also feature, allowing the audience to get the most out of the presence of the great minds speaking at the event.

Speakers are slated to include such people as:

Matthew Patience - CTO of Mobicartel and creator of such apps as TwitHaus.

Atley Hunter - Experienced app developer who will be speaking on developing “Android Apps That Use The Windows Azure Cloud Platform”

Andy Smith - Production Manager for Get Set Games, who will be discuss app marketing, monetization, and engagement

Scheduled for Wednesday, October 26th 2011, Android TO is the only event of its kind here in Canada, and a great way to learn and share between those enthusiastic about the Android platform. Early Bird tickets are now on sale until August 31st for only $75, or until they are sold out, so if you’re planning on attending grab one while they are still there.
