When it comes to Canadian carriers, pricing seems to be one big game of “Follow the Leader”. Just yesterday, Telus dropped the price of a 16GB iPhone 4 to $99.99 on a three year commitment, and already Bell and Virgin have followed suit. While Rogers hasn’t announced any changes to their pricing yet, it stands to reason that it’s only a matter of time before they do. Given the time of year, and Apple’s traditional release schedule, perhaps this is simply a matter of trying to clear out some excess stock prior to the launch of the iPhone 5.
