BlackBerry Curve 9360 allegedly launching on Bell Aug 29th
BlackBerry users in need of a refresh are having a banner year so far in 2011, with the 9900, 9810 and 9860 already hitting the markets. According to the leaked screenshot from Bell, it looks like we should have yet another addition to the BlackBerry 7 lineup making an appearance very soon, on August 29th in fact. While I freely admit that I haven’t been in love with the Curve line throughout its latest incarnation (8500 series), it looks like RIM has beefed this one up a bit. At least they seem to have ditched the low-res screen I loathe, going for a slightly more acceptable 480 x 360 resolution. Although this device has popped up here and there around the web over the last couple of months, there is yet to be any kind of acknowledgement from RIM of its existence. While it remains to be seen if August 29th does in fact end up being the date, at least we have something more substantial to go on for those wanting to upgrade within the Curve family of BlackBerry smartphones with the 9360. Well, at least those of us in Canada, at this point. No word on US carriers as yet.
