Best Buy drops price of Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9900 to $149.99 on a 3-year

We’ve known for a while that in the price war on post-paid phones, Best Buy has always been the most ruthless of the retailers, always doing their best to undercut any and all competition - this now solidifies that deal.
This morning a tipster sent us a screenshot from BestBuy.ca showing the Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9900 for $149.99 on a 3-year term - that’s $100 off the original asking price less than a week after launch. This follows up to what we reported late last week on Rogers doing a pre-weekend price drop from $249.99 to $199.99, which left many-a-customer a tad bit disgruntled. Now having another one within the same weekend? Insane. I honestly feel bad for the Rogers call center employees and the headaches that are going to ensue.
To be perfectly honest, if you were holding out at all on buying this device solely based on the termed pricing, now might be the perfect time to sign the dotted line. So head on over to your nearest Best Buy store and pick one up as this is an in-store only promotion.
Stay tuned for our full review of the Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9900 coming very soon.
