It seems appropriate to assume that if a day goes by without an iPhone 5 rumor dropping something is, well, wrong. Everyone seems to want their link-back claim to fame - so much so that it’s becoming increasingly hard to decipher between the real rumors and fake ones. So, today’s I am reporting for the sole purpose of getting the previously mentioned off my chest, I am not claiming to believe the image seen above; frankly I don’t really care anymore.

The above shot was posted online this morning with the following message attached: “Picture taken yesterday in the office of a French operator. Believe it or not… we were able to see it only 2 minutes, pictures forbidden of course, so, we did our best… The only thing I can tell you, is that my iPhone 4 looks really slow now”.

From the looks of the picture it’s extremely thin, has the edge-to-edge screen, and looks strikingly similar to it’s predecessor the iPhone 4, however is missing some crucial features previously rumored to be included (think tear drop shape and aluminum backing).

Do you believe what you see above? Think it’s just a good photoshop job? Sound off.

This is a lot more plausible than most of the other rumors in my mind. I can see a realtively minor exterior update unitl the iPhone 6 (i.e. the model after the Sept./Oct. iPhone 4S/5). The exterior redesign at that time may be forced by the adoption of LTE capabilities, impacting things like antenna design. The current iPhone 4 still doesn’t really look too dated, but I can see updates in the form of a dual core CPU, improved GPU, more RAM/Flash storage, and possibly improved battery life, better Wi-fi (full 802.11N, meaning 5GHs being added). The display has enough resolution, and otherwise the iPhone 4 is fairly current; I don’t see anything major lacking in the exterior design. Making it thinner will always make it more attractive.

Every since I got into reading up on cell phones and tablets I have noticed one thing. No one likes suprises anymore. By the time a device is released, we have known about it and seen it for MONTHS, chances are when the iPhone 5 or 4S, gets released we are going to be like hey, so the leak we saw MONTHS ago was real, well this isn’t exciting lol. One day when a device gets released I want that wow factor…like oh wow thats totally different then what was leaked before. i miss suprises :( lol

good point, if it wasn’t for these leaks and all this news what would I do during the day while at work? work? pshhh thats not fun. If it wasn’t for leaks and such then I wouldn’t have such amazing sites like this one to read 24/7… so I guess it evens itself out, no surprises but I get to keep busy reading up on the newest gadgets.

so keep the leaks coming, i take back my comments in my last post haha
