With the cat out of the bag on most of the forthcoming BlackBerry 7 devices RIM is set to launch, the only thing left is an official announcement of them. This being said, RIM is notoriously known for throwing some pretty awesome parties in celebration of past devices that have launched - think Torch and PlayBook. So what better way to officially announce the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 2 9810 (among others) than by throwing a “Fan Night” in our fair city of Toronto? Well, that’s exactly what they’re doing. This coming Wednesday evening, RIM is taking over a secret venue in downtown Toronto, ON to unleash BlackBerry 7 to a select group of anxious people. Want even better news? I will be flying in to my hometown for this special occasion from Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the special event, blog it live, and of course, catch up with familiar faces!
