When it comes to Android, we’re pretty used to the U.S. getting everything first, but this hasn’t been the case with the Samsung Galaxy S II which still has yet to launch in the U.S. and has been available in other markets since May (you can check out our review of the Galaxy S II here). The availability will soon change, however, as Samsung’s Shin Jong-kyun has gone on the record stating that “we expect to release the Galaxy S2 in the U.S. market sometime in August.” While we’d prefer to know exact dates and with which carriers, for now we’re satisfied just knowing it’s on its way.
