Not only are RIM inventors and fanboys jumping ship at an alarming rate, but their own staff are, too. Today word broke out that Ryan Bidan, who was the Senior Product Manger for the PlayBook, has left Waterloo to take a job with Samsung where he will be the Director of Product Marketing. Bidan isn’t the first RIM employee to cross the floor and shack up with Samsung. Earlier this year, Brian Wallace, VP of Digital Marketing and Media, left to become their VP of Strategic Marketing. Anyone else starting to worry more and more about RIM?

Not because a person took a higher paying bigger titled job at a different company no. Considering iCloud Product Manager left Apple recently as well. A person taking a better job elsewhere happens all the time.

Like the previous poster said, taking a higher position at another company does not equal jumping ship cuz RIM is going nowhere… come on… this is just lazy journalism…
