Here’s a fun one. Jarrod McKinney, a man from Minnesota, received quite a shock when he found out that his iPhone 4, which had plummeted 13,500 to the ground in a skydiving incident, was still able to function. Apart from a broken display and back, McKinney was able to use MobileMe’s Find My iPhone to track his phone down to the top of a two-story building where it landed, and even place and receive phone calls. How was the phone able to survive the two-and-a-half mile drop? Apparently it was wearing an Incipio case when it fell, which lessened the forces of impact. McKinney plans to have the broken screen replaced and continue to use his lucky iPhone.
