HP celebrates the launch of the TouchPad with “Gives Like Nothing Else” campaign
To celebrate the Canadian launch of the TouchPad, HP has announced it will embark upon summer-long campaign to raise money for charity. The campaign, known as “Gives Like Nothing Else”, is simple. Starting July 23rd and running until August 31st, HP will be holding a series of events in public places where consumers are invited to come up and get familiar with the TouchPad. Each time a consumer touches a TouchPad, HP will donate $2 to the Boys and Girls Club of Canada. The following are the dates, times, and locations of the first events, some of which will be broadcast live on local radio:
Toronto, July 23-34, Harbourfront — 11am to 7pm
Vancouver, July 30-31, Robson Square — 11am to 7pm
Ottawa, July 30-31, ByWard Market 10am to 6pm
Halifax, August 6-7, Victoria Park — 10am to 6pm
Calgary, August 6-7, South Center Mall — Saturday 10am to 8pm, Sunday 11am to 6pm
