As the battle of the Big 3 continues, when one carrier introduces something “new” in terms of marketing, the others try to follow along one way or another. Today’s example is news that Rogers - following in Bell’s footsteps (think Bell’s Superphone category announcement from last week) - plans on launching a new “Smartphone Lite” category this coming fall, with the Nokia X7 being at the front and center of it.

Will it be a hit? Who knows. We’ll have to wait and see when September comes.
