It sounds like HTC might actually make good on its promise to deliver all future Android smartphones with unlocked bootloaders, as a Rogers employee has stated on the company’s Red Board blog that the upcoming HTC EVO 3D will in fact ship with a wide-open bootloader. Of course HTC reserves the right to reverse course on whim, but here’s to hoping that won’t be the case.
