Rogers is a company that understands the value of housing good smart phones in their ever-expanding lineup, so the news today - thought great - should not come as a shock to anyone.

We received word this morning via Rogers’ RedBoard blog that they have announced and will launch two new Android powered devices this summer: the HTC EVO 3D and the LG Optimus 3D - both set to be Canada’s first stab at the 3D device niche, both rocking gorgeous 4.3-inch screens, and both launching exclusively this summer with Rogers. But that’s not all - starting next week, new customers can pre-order either of these devices through an upcoming microsite and be automatically entered into a contest. If pre-ordering the LG Optimus 3D, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a 55”LG Cinema 3D HDTV. Or, if you pre-order the HTC EVO 3D, you’ll be entered to win a $2,500 MasterCard gift card.

Contest closes August 15^th. Existing Rogers customers can exclusively reserve either of these devices through the Rogers Reservation System, until July 23^rd. Be amongst the first to experience a 3D smartphone in Canada, by securing a place “in line” for a device without having to visit a store or call in.
